simply sweet book mark






Simply sweet bookmark
Skills needed:
Knit -k
Pearl-p
Decrease- dec. or knit 2 st together
Pattern:
Cast on 10 st
K 3 rows
Row 4: k1 p1 then knit 6 then k1 p1
Repeat row 4 till desired length about 7 ½ or 8 inches
Then after you have your desired length
K1 p1 dec. K to last 4 St dec. then k1 p1
Next row: k1 p1 dec. k to last 4 St dec. then k1 p1
Next row: k1 p1 dec. k1 p1
Next row: dec. pearl wise dec. again pearl wise p1
Next row: knit 3 St till last desired length about 2 ½ or 3 inches
Next row: then dec. all 3 st then you should have one st left leave about a 2 or 2 ½ inch tail
And pull the tail though the last st and tighten
You can now fray the 2 inch tail so that all 4 strands of the
worsted weight
Yarns are showing
It will look really cool

the camping bug

camping camping camping and knitting


so i just got back from a awsome camping trip at mcgrath state beach in ca.it was also my 1st time knitting and camping yay . so there i was the day befor the trip packing up our bages and then it hits me like a fishing pole to the face,where iam i going to put my yarn when iam knitting or where iam i going to put my yarn in general so just like that i went into the kitchen got a ziplock bagy and put my yarn in it but so many people already do that but i close the bag when the yarn is in duh and leave a little pace so that the yarn can go thorough and thow it on the ground and knit away your yarn stays nice and clean and you look so cool knitting and camping yay camping and knitting yay oh ya ohhh yaa

step3.close the bag leaveing a little space at the top thats were the yarn will fed though

wee baby booties



this picture is of the wee baby booties sorry if the picture is not as good as it could be ,iam going to take better photos soon but in the mean time this will do.

this is my own pattern inspired by thePocketbook Slippers by Lisa Vienneau & Allison Barrett but are, as you can tell supper tiny and made just for the little gift from above in your life slip them over socks for added warmth on cold days. you can make a pair in one hour :)

wee baby booties

co 4 st.

k4 rows

(k1 m1)knit to last st then (m1 k1)

do this till you have 22 st

then k2 p2

for 6 to 7 rows or 2"

then (k1 dec.1) knit to last 3 st. dec k1

till you have 4 st.

knit 4 row then bind off fold in half and sew but sew very carefully becuse it is so tiny

this is a new pattern of mine and it is my frist ever and iam all ways open to suggetions and feed back good or bad but i perfer good :) ive made 5 pairs so far and they all came out good to tell the truth i did have a bit of trouble while sewing up on of the botties but it was my falt i ran out of thread but all the rest of them came out perfect all smiles here :) hope you like the pattern
